Social Emotional Learning is a vital part of our curriculum at all age groups. We expect our students to grow into Leaders of Character, and be productive members of society. Children are just that; children in the 'process of growing up'. Our students are taught with modeling and learn how to regulate behaviors, use manners, and be kind to others. Our academic Rigor is combined with Respect and Responsibility. We utilize Capturing Kids Hearts, develop individual social contracts for each classroom and staff annually, and groups hold their individuals accountable to each other. We utilize Love and Logic to teach students logical consequences with empathy, the Moodsters teach our younger children how to identify with feelings, and Conscious Discipline teaches interactions and problem solving.

 

Our Elementary and Middle School students also are recognized with monthly Good Citizenship Awards, Caught You Being Good Tickets, and the Awesome Classroom of the Month Rewards.
