Ashlae received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Wichita State University in 2010. Ashlae currently holds a Teaching License in Kansas. Ashlae had experience as a para professional for three years with Wichita Public Schools in grades kindergarten through third grade, was a part time teacher at Honey Tree Academy for three years and has been teaching Kindergarten at Branches since 2010. Ashlae is instrumental in providing whole and small group instruction and differentiation to the children in the academy, assessing the students, documenting their progress, and maintaining student files. Mrs. Close is one of our mentor teachers, and the teacher in our Kindergarten classroom. She is our Assistant Director and a part of our leadership team. Mrs. Close loves to sing learning songs and keep her students engaged! She is a phenomenal and caring teacher!
